It was a beautiful day for a wedding. The light was gorgeous only to be out done by the bride. Congratulations Brittany and Shane!
I found this sweet survival kit for grooms on Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings blog. What a great idea for a little something to give the groom before the wedding. Let’s be honest..his socks are probably not the first thing on his mind.
One of my goals for 2012 was to be published. Today Marc and Shelbe’s black tie session has been featured on Vie d’Amour wedding blog. Today my goal of being published has been checked off on my yearly to do list.
Marc and Shelbe’s black tie was one of my favorites from 2011 and I am so excited it was chosen to be featured. Going through their images again reminded me of what a sweet couple they are. They were a pleasure to work with and just plain fun to be around.
Now that you have met Jorge and Diana I can let you know a little something about them. They know how to throw a party. Jorge and Diana had a wonderful reception filled with love and joy and fun.
After having family and friends give speeches and share memories the couple shared a first dance. Jorge and Diana were surprised by a Mariachi band. As the evening progressed dancing was a major player. Everyone was out on the dance floor and having a great time. Jorge and Diana left quietly without any fanfare. It was really sweet to see them leave and start their life together.

The sun was shining, it was warm but not hot, and family gathered outside the Salt Lake Temple to welcome newly married couple Diana & Jorge.
The moment a couple exits the LDS temple after being married is my favorite. I love the reactions from family and friends. Some are loud, some are quiet, and others don’t seem to know what to do. Jorge and Diana’s family were excited. They started loud and then quieted down. Everyone wanted to capture the moment and there were a lot of cameras out to snap pics of the happy couple.
Diana and Jorge were so great that there are too many images to choose from. To see more of their wedding day check out Mad Marie Photography’s blog here. Stay tuned for images from their reception.
